Is a Ductless HVAC System Right for My Home?

A wall-mount mini-split heating and air conditioning unit installed in a new house. A modern heat pump, this unit heats a house in winter and cools in the summer. This type of system eliminates ductwork which is a primary source of inefficiency in a conventional system making this about 30% more efficient. This particular unit has an eye sensor which pans the room looking for hot or cold spots and directs the airflow accordingly.

Your current heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system may not be able to cover the new or remodeled area. Instead of upgrading your system, supplement it with a ductless system.
